What we are...

 

First and foremost we are baby stylists who enhance your portrait session, but we also style family and maternity portraits.  We do classic newborn styling which generally includes some wardrobe, accessories and most of the set dressing.  We also style children from infant to toddler, and will tailor the the concept to the physical abilities of your baby.  We will work with your photographer of choice or recommend one of our 3 favorites. You can count on us to set-up and supervise the photoshoot ensuring your child's comfort and safety.  One thing that makes us extremely specialized is that we love creating miniature sets and/or set dressing that tells a story like our little sailor at sea in our logo.  We call those our one-of-a-kind story portraits and they are our personal favorites to design.  

 

 

 

Why we do it...

 

It all began with a year long photo project project proposed by the fantastic, Stephanie Nelson Photography.  My newborn son, Walker would be documented once a month for his first year of life. Each month we got more excited and came up with a more elaborate idea than the last one.  I was staying up late at night cutting and painting cardboard waves (often enlisting my husband, Behn to help me the night before a shoot), fantasizing about felt flowers and visualizing how all the colors and textures would play together with Walker's specific monthly physical baby stage.  Once he turned one, I realized I wanted to keep creating and styling photoshoots for other parents who want a unique photoshoot that the whole family will enjoy for years to come.
